Dusit Thani Mactan resort places third in regional luxury travel awards

DUSIT THANI Mactan Cebu Resort, part of Robinsons Hotels and Resorts, the hospitality arm of Robinsons Land Corp., ranked third in the Philippines’ Beach, Island + Upcountry Resorts category at the Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2026.
The beachfront resort, located within the Amisa mixed-use development in Mactan, Cebu, was the highest-ranked Cebu property in the category.
Organized by Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia, Hong Kong & Macau, the awards recognize hotels, resorts, spas, pools, airlines, cruises, travel agencies, and other travel experiences across the Asia-Pacific region. Nominees are selected by the publication’s editors and expert contributors, while winners are determined through reader voting.
“We are honored by this recognition from Travel + Leisure’s readers, whose support reflects the care and consistency our teams bring to every guest stay,” Barun Jolly, senior vice-president and business unit general manager of Robinsons Hotels and Resorts, said in a statement on Monday.
The property, located on the northern tip of the Punta Engaño Peninsula, has 272 rooms and suites, a 100-meter infinity pool, a beachfront, wellness and leisure facilities, a fitness center, a children’s recreation area, and meeting and event spaces, including the pillarless Dusit Ballroom.
The latest recognition follows the resort’s Michelin Key distinction in 2025. — ALB
